About the role
Join the team at Hunter Premium Skylights as a full-time Skylight Installer based in Newcastle, NSW. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the installation of high-quality skylights, roof windows and related products to residential and commercial properties. As a skilled tradesperson, you will play a crucial part in delivering premium quality installations that enhance the functionality and aesthetics of our clients' homes and buildings.
What you'll be doing
1. Prepare and install skylights, roof windows and associated components with meticulous attention to detail
2. Provide exceptional customer service throughout the installation process
3. Identify and address any installation challenges in a timely and effective manner
4. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocols
5. Collaborate with the wider team to ensure seamless project delivery
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience or willingness to learn in Carpenter/roofing, with a strong background in the building trades ideally but open to applications keen learn new skills and create a new career
2. Working at heights training will be provided on site for successful candidates
3. Excellent practical skills, being fit and use power tools proficiently
4. A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
5. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients
6. A valid driver's licence
7. Must hold a current car licence (C class) as minimum requirement
8. A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team
9. White Card certification is mandatory for this position
