Job description
Our Individualized Community Living Strategy team are looking for Recovery Mentors, with experience in mental health to support customers in the Northern Suburbs including Osborne Park, Midland and Joondalup.
To be considered, you’ll bring a qualification in Mental Health, Counselling, Psychology, or a related field. This role is best suited to someone who’s confident working with complexity, understands modern recovery principles, and can walk alongside people as they rebuild structure, independence and stability in their lives.
What you'll do
* Offer practical support for individuals to manage & maintain their tenancy
* Provide social and practical support, including community access and attending appointments
* Offer intensive, recovery-focused support to individuals with complex mental health needs
* Attend paid induction, training, buddy shifts and ongoing professional development
About Avivo
We work alongside people and families who need personalized support due to disability, ageing, or mental health experiences. Our work is entirely community‑based, which means some shifts may be short and there can be gaps between customers. This is a different setup to Centre or facility environments, with support taking place in people’s homes and out in the community.
