Apprenticeship Careers Australia (ACA) currently have an exciting opportunity for applicants looking to start their career as an Electrician, through a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician over 4 years, located in the Southern Highlands/Goulburn areas.
This opportunity is ideal for recent school leavers looking to start a first-year apprenticeship.
This Apprenticeship offers a unique blend of residential electrical, air – conditioning solar and batteries and on and off grid installations. As an apprentice, you will work alongside experienced professionals, gaining practical experience and developing valuable industry skills.
Duties: a typical day would include but not limited to:
* Running electrical cables and wiring throughout newly assembled homes.
* Installing Solar modules, conduits, batteries and air conditioning units.
* Installing electrical systems, outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures.
* Collaborating with experienced electricians to ensure all work meets industry standards and safety regulations.
* Troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues as needed.

* Ability to work in a team environment.
* Ability to follow & adhere to WHS policies and procedures.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Fit and Strong
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Have a strong work ethic and motivated to learn.
