DomeShelter Australia is seeking an energetic & orderly individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Yard Operator. If you take pride in keeping things systematically organized, we want to hear from you
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect large steel shelter components from the yard using forklifts and bring them to the packing area.
* Safely lower heavy steel lengths (up to 8m) into custom steel transport crates.
* Secure components using various strapping and packing materials to ensure safe transport.
* Load packed crates onto trucks for delivery to clients or project sites.
* Support yard and packing operations by moving steel, maintaining packing materials, and keeping the work area safe and efficient.
* Maintain accurate records during packing and dispatch to support tracking and logistics.
* Work closely with the team to solve daily challenges, stay safe, and keep jobs moving efficiently.

Qualifications:
* Licensed and experienced forklift operator — confident handling long, heavy steel components and loading/unloading trucks safely and efficiently.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a warehouse, transport, or manufacturing environment involving heavy materials.
* Proven ability to work safely around moving plant and equipment in a high-paced setting.
* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills, with a practical, hands-on mindset.
* Solid attention to detail — cares about doing things right the first time.
* Reliable team player with good communication and a positive attitude.
* Leadership potential or previous experience leading small teams is a bonus.
