Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Specialist who has recently transitioned into this role and brings strong experience in general ledger reconciliations, debtors, cash flow, and accounts payable. If you understand accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset reconciliations, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage Master File Changes: Ensure accurate and up-to-date financial records by managing master file changes.
* Support Accounts Receivable Function: Assist with credit notes, and debt collection to maintain smooth cash flow.
* Review Weekly Payment Runs: Monitor and review weekly payment runs to identify any discrepancies or errors.
* Cash Flow and Treasury Support: Provide support for cash flow management, including daily/weekly cash flow forecasting.
* Provide Support for Accounting Officers: Assist accounting officers with their tasks, ensuring timely completion of financial reports and statements.
* Perform Monthly Intercompany Reconciliations: Reconcile intercompany transactions and FX payments on a monthly basis.
* Maintain Fixed Asset Registers: Maintain accurate and up-to-date fixed asset registers across AU & NZ.
* Manage Capital Application Process: Manage the capital application and approval process, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
* Support Quarterly Capital Reviews: Assist with quarterly capital reviews, monitoring and reporting on capital spend.
* Investigate Goods Delivered Not Invoiced Balances: Investigate and clear Goods Delivered Not Invoiced balances promptly.
* Complete Monthly Reconciliations: Complete monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and reliability.
* Assist with Audits and System Improvements: Assist with audits, system improvements, and process efficiencies to maintain best practices.
