Prior Gili & Co Pty Ltd provides Accounting and Tax services to small to medium sized businesses, wealthy individuals and families.
We are looking for a recent or soon to be Graduate Accountant to join our Chartered Accountant firm at our office based on Collins Street, Melbourne with optional working from home days. This is an entry level position suitable for a person who has an Accounting qualification and is looking to start their career as a professional tax preparer and advisor.
Responsibilities
* Preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns
* Advising clients in relation to tax matters
* Payroll, bookkeeping and preparation of Activity Statements
* Attending and contributing to regular tax training sessions
* General assistance to Senior Accountants
Selection Criteria
* Recent or near complete Bachelor Degree in Commerce or Business, with an Accounting major
* An interest in learning in Tax related areas
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to learn and utilise a range of software
* Willingness to commence CA (or have commenced)
* Strong and reliable work ethic
* High attention to detail and professional presentation
