We are seeking a dynamic, outcome focused leader to join our Senior Management Team in a newly created executive role, reporting directly to the Director City Assets.
As the Executive Manager – City Works and Operations, you will shape the future of our services across our operational areas of Open Space and Buildings Operations, Roads Operations (including Kelso Waste Management Facility) and Fleet Operations across our three Depots. You will have
* Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Operations Management, Asset management, Business Management or a related field.
* Valid driver’s licence.
* Extensive experience in leading large-scale, multi-disciplinary operational services, preferable with a local government or similar environment
* Strong skills in budgeting, financial oversight, scheduling, and contract management.
* Track record of driving change, improving efficiency, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
* Excellent problem-solving, strategic thinking, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
A postgraduate qualification in Management and a working knowledge of local government operations under the Local Government Act are desirable but not essential.
Salary is negotiable dependent on skills and experience.
