The role is also responsible for co-designing, consulting, and implementing resources and initiatives to improve wellbeing and diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging (DEIB) for RANZCOG staff. We value flexibility at RANZCOG - whilst the role states full time, we will accept applications from those wanting part time hours at 0.8.Key Responsibilities:Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and BelongingDevelop and oversee DEIB educational projects and initiatives for staffOrganise and manage College special events focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)Lead the creation, execution, and assessment of diversity and inclusion plans (e.g., gendered language action plan, disability action plan, diversity and inclusion framework)Conduct research, analysis, and reporting on DEIB trends to formulate evidence-based strategies benefiting staffHealth, Wellbeing and SustainabilityCollaborate with the People and Wellbeing team to address non-inclusive behaviors and embed wellbeing initiatives throughout the employee lifecycleLead initiatives outlined in the Staff Discrimination, Bullying, Sexual Harassment, and Harassment Action PlanOversee the Health and Occupational Wellness Program (HOW)Oversee the Environmental, Sustainability Working Group (ESWG)Oversee the Social and Inclusion Staff Resource Group (SIRG)Oversee and lead the RISE (Realise, Inspire, Support, Energise) ProjectResource DevelopmentDevelop and oversee resources aimed at promoting DEIB initiativesIn Collaboration with People and Wellbeing, organise professional development and educational initiatives (e.g., workshops, webinars) for staffCollaborate on draft policies and framework documents in operational areasGather employee data on belonging and engagement through surveys, interviews, and case studiesManage and promote the College’s Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs)Skills and Experiences:Ko wai koe | About you - Key Selection CriteriaUnderstanding of Diversity Issues: Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) issues, including relevant legislation, policies, and best practices.Experience in Wellbeing Initiatives: Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing and implementing holistic wellbeing programs that encompass physical, mental, and emotional health aspects.Experience in DEI Initiatives: Proven track record of developing and implementing diversity and inclusion strategies, programs, and initiatives within organisations.Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
