Key Responsibilities
* Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment:
* Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults in line with manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
* Maintain equipment functionality to minimize downtime and ensure consistent performance.
* Perform regular inspections and service routines; implement planned maintenance schedules.
* Collaborate with workshop staff and operational teams to support production goals.
* Maintain accurate logbooks and maintenance documentation for audit and reporting purposes.
* Assist with installation of new systems and equipment upgrades, including digital monitoring or automation enhancements.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives to boost reliability, efficiency, and system longevity.
Qualifications & Experience
* Trade‑qualified (e.g., Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Fitter) with a strong record in industrial maintenance.
* Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics and system repair.
* Familiarity with safety practices, and regulatory compliance in food production environments.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
