Maintenance and Asset Planner Role
This is a critical role that plays a key part in the smooth operation of our fleet. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating logistics, inventory, and workshop assets to meet customer demands.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operating Computerized Maintenance Management Software (CMMS) to manage maintenance schedules.
* Coordinating jobs and maintenance programs.
* Developing shutdown plans for equipment and personnel.
* Organizing inductions, permits, and approvals.
* Updating component details in the Maintenance Management System.
* Managing stock levels and chairing planning meetings.
* Building relationships with employees, suppliers, and customers.
Qualifications and Skills:
* A Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Trade Certificate and 5 years post-trade experience.
* Prioritizing critical work paths in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
* Experience with IT applications and Microsoft Office suite.
* Strong collaboration skills and current motor vehicle license.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a high level of motivation. If selected, they will undergo regular drug and alcohol testing and a police check.
