Job Description:
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our team in Launceston and Devonport Tasmania. In this role, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence, well-being, and social inclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist clients with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and household activities.
* Support clients in accessing community services, recreational activities, and social engagements.
* Implement individualised care plans and encourage clients to achieve their goals.
* Monitor and report on client progress and well-being.
* Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Certificate III in Disability, Individual Support, or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
* Previous experience in disability support or a similar role (preferred).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* A caring and empathetic attitude with a focus on client empowerment.
* Current First Aid Certificate and a valid driver's license.
* NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
* working with vulnarable people card
* Valid Australian Driving licince, with comprehensive car insurance and registration.
* National police clearance
* prove of working rights in Australia- Visa condition or cityzenship
