Job Summary
The Back Office Trade and Clearer Systems Team of our global quantitative trading firm, is seeking an experienced C#, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL Senior Software Engineer. As a key technical Engineer in this team, you will be responsible for defining, developing and maintaining Back Office Technology systems as well as helping lead the technology, solutions and development direction. Within our setting you will be exposed to cutting-edge, database and C# development and automated systems that support critical business activities.
The Back Office Technology Team is responsible for capturing and managing the firms Trading activity and Clearer data, and for building and maintaining Systems that utilize this data. System functions within the Team include Trade capture and aggregation, Position reconciliation to the Clearer data, end of day Price capture, Instrument maintenance and publishing, Cash reconciliation, Position valuation, Profit and Loss determination, Accounting, and MIS reporting.
Within this role, you will participate in all phases of software development and will be responsible for the design, development, and support of solutions to meet the Business needs.
What we're looking for
You are:
Degree qualified professional with a major in IT, Science, Mathematics or Engineering
An experienced Senior Software Engineer with a minimum of 5 years experience
A C# expert, with at least 7 years experience
Ideally will have excellent Oracle SQL, PL/SQL skills.
Experienced in dealing with Trades, Positions and Cash would be highly regarded.
Experienced in in the Financial Industry preferably in the back office area of a trading environment would be an advantage.
Familiar with Reuters, Bloomberg and Exchange Data would be highly regarded.
Experienced with Business Intelligence in MIS Reporting, OLAP and Data Warehousing would be an advantage (preferably Oracle).
Engaging, with strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non technical functions.
