Looking for a hands‐on role in a fast‐paced workshop? We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Trade Assistant with a sharp eye for detail to join our team in Wacol.
The Role
* Assemble & Test: Build products using technical drawings and hand tools.
* Quality Control: Identify faulty parts and precisely document test results.
* Maintenance: Disassemble, wash, and clean mechanical equipment.
* Logistics: Operate the forklift (LF) to move stock and assist the warehouse.
* Safety: Participate in weekly Tool Box talks and maintain a clean workspace.
What You Need
* LF Ticket (Forklift) - Mandatory.
* Mechanical Aptitude: Experience with small parts assembly and hand tools.
* Experience: Previous TA roles are highly regarded.
* Reliability: A proactive, "can-do" attitude and great communication.
* Precision: High attention to detail for stamping and logging batch numbers.
