Job Description
* Route Planning: Utilize routing software to generate and manage daily delivery routes based on order volume, customer time windows, geographic zones and trailer capacity.
* Loading Optimization: Build and balance loads by trailer, product size and pallet weight to ensure compliance with DOT regulations including axle distribution and Hours of Service (HOS) requirements.
1. Create standard route templates in the routing software ensuring daily routes maximize manpower equipment usage fuel efficiency and cost savings;
