We're seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Supervisor to support our maintenance operations. You'll assist the Maintenance Manager in leading the team of handypersons, coordinate with external contractors as needed, and ensure all hotel equipment, systems, and facilities are safe, fully operational, and guest-ready.
What you'll do:
* Lead, guide, and support the team of handypersons
* Carry out general maintenance across guest rooms, bathrooms, public areas, and back-of-house
* Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and repair programs
* Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they escalate
* Coordinate work with contractors and other hotel departments as required
* Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance logs, and inventory
* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with WHS and brand standards
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience in hotel maintenance and supervisory role preferred
* Strong technical knowledge across general building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
* Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
* Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and solve problems proactively
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems (ESCAP preferred)
* Trade qualification or relevant tertiary education
