Job Title: Business Assurance Assessor
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Business Assurance Assessor to join our team. As a Business Assurance Assessor, you will be responsible for undertaking business assurance assessments in accordance with current procedures.
* Lead multi-disciplinary and/or international assessment teams effectively, ensuring that visits are completed within agreed timescales and coordinating team findings to reach conclusions.
* Produce high-quality assessment reports reflecting business assurance principles, in compliance with internal procedures and accreditation requirements.
* Maintain broad knowledge of LRQA products and services to discuss additional services with clients and promote additional or higher-value services while building strong relationships.
* Ensure internal client stakeholders are informed of changes and issues, escalating as appropriate.
* Identify opportunities and sales leads, passing them onto appropriate colleagues.
* Pass client feedback and insights to internal recipients, initiating and leading client improvement projects as required.
* Maintain professional competence by staying up-to-date with technical and other developments in your area of expertise, maintaining CPD records, updating your LRQA CV, and maintaining professional registrations.
* Supervise induction, coaching, and knowledge transfer for assigned new Assessors.
* Coach Auditors under training, recommending authorisation and further development activities as appropriate. Mentor less experienced Lead Assessors to assist in their professional development.
* Perform additional and ad hoc tasks promptly as required, such as assessor development, product development, or projects.
* Participate fully in Auditor meetings, developing materials, presenting, and coaching others in your area of expertise as appropriate.
* Understanding/appreciation of relevant legal/regulatory framework.
* Substantial experience in third-party auditing/assessment, including system-level auditing and process-level auditing.
* Understanding of client management principles and their application within the role.
* Experience in developing and managing complex technical projects.
* Competent in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
