CareChoice is looking for students studying an Allied Health qualification to join our 3-month Disability Support Worker Internship Program.
Disability Support Worker Internship Program
This internship gives you hands‐on experience, mentoring, and the chance to support clients while completing your studies. You'll gain valuable skills, and after the program you may have the opportunity to continue working with us.
What you'll do:
As a Disability Support Worker, you may support clients with:
* Building independence and achieving personal goals
* Supported Independent Living tasks
* Community access and transport
* Domestic and personal care
About you:
You're friendly, reliable, and currently studying Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Physiotherapy, or another Allied Health course. You may have experience with people with disability through work, placement, or personal life.
You'll need:
* Current First Aid & CPR certificate
* Enrolment in an Allied Health qualification
* A valid driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured car
