Backed by globally recognised brands and supported by a strong local team, our Power Transmission division is entering an exciting phase of growth, with significant investment in channel development, market expansion, and partner engagement across Australia.

We are now seeking a commercially driven and relationship-focused Channel & Business Development Specialist to help grow and strengthen our national channel partner network.

Role Description

Reporting to the General Manager – Power Transmission, this role offers the opportunity to help shape the future direction of Ammega's Power Transmission channel strategy across Australia.

You will be responsible for developing, managing, and growing a high-performing network of channel partners that drive sustainable growth, market coverage, customer engagement, and brand presence across the country.

Acting as the commercial and relationship arm of the business through indirect channels, you will work closely with partners to identify opportunities, support growth, and create long-term value for both businesses.

This is not a traditional account management role.

It is an opportunity to help shape a network built on trust, collaboration, long-term partnerships, and shared success.

This position is suited to someone who enjoys building genuine business relationships, identifying market opportunities, driving strategic growth initiatives, and influencing positive outcomes across a developing national network.

Key Responsibilities

* Execute the national channel strategy aligned to "right product, right price, right channel".
* Identify, recruit, onboard, and develop new channel partners in targeted regions.
* Build and strengthen long-term relationships with partner owners, managers, and sales teams.
* Support partners through onboarding, product training, systems access, and commercial alignment.
* Develop joint business plans and growth initiatives with strategic partners.
* Drive revenue growth, margin improvement, and increased market penetration.
* Monitor partner performance, pipeline activity, and growth opportunities.
* Conduct joint customer visits and support local market development initiatives.
* Work collaboratively with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Product Management, and Marketing teams.
* Contribute to the ongoing development of the Partner program.
* Maintain channel discipline, pricing integrity, and clear market alignment.

About You

You are commercially minded, relationship-driven, and motivated by building something meaningful.

You understand that long-term business success is built through trust, consistency, collaboration, and genuine relationships.

You enjoy engaging with customers and partners face-to-face, understanding their businesses, identifying opportunities, and helping drive growth through partnership and shared outcomes.

You are comfortable operating within a developing structure where initiative, adaptability, accountability, and ownership are highly valued.

Qualifications

* Experience within Industrial, Hydraulic, Bearings, Conveyor, Fluid Power, or Power Transmission industries.
* Experience in channel management, distribution, B2B sales, or partner development environments.
* Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing, margins, and profitability.
* Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capability.
* Strong territory planning and organisational skills.
* The ability to influence outcomes without direct authority.
* Experience using CRM or ERP systems such as Salesforce, SAP, or similar.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* A proactive and growth-focused mindset.

Why Join Us?

At Ammega, we are building more than a channel network, we are building long-term partnerships that create sustainable growth across our industry.

This role offers the opportunity to influence strategy, shape partnerships, and contribute to the growth of a business that values collaboration, accountability, and people.

You will have the autonomy to make an impact, the support of a global organisation, and the opportunity to grow alongside a business investing heavily in its future.

* Opportunity to help shape and influence the future direction of a growing national division
* Work with globally recognised industrial brands.
* Collaborative and supportive team environment.
* Career development and long-term growth opportunities.
* Exposure to strategic channel and market development initiatives.
* A role with autonomy, ownership, and the ability to make a genuine impact.

If you are passionate about building meaningful partnerships, driving long-term growth, and creating genuine impact within an industry-leading business, we would love to hear from you.
