Job Description

With an exciting pipeline of projects, AECOM’s Civil Infrastructure team has exciting opportunities for Senior or Principal level Civil Engineers to join our Brisbane, Gold Coast or Maroochydore office.

You will be joining a diverse and passionate team with a proven track record delivering major projects across Australia.  Contribute to the successful delivery of civil engineering projects, from feasibility and concept design to detailed design and construction. Collaborating with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring technical excellence and project success.

How you’ll make a difference
Lead and deliver civil engineering projects from feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction. Manage stakeholder and client relationships and represent AECOM across local and national projects. Technical quality assurance and management of small teams providing mentorship and guidance to junior engineers Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to achieve high-quality results within budget and on schedule.
Qualifications

The qualities that help you thrive
Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Chartered Engineering and National Registration CPEng RPEQ and NER looked upon favourably At least 10-15 years of experience delivering multi-disciplinary projects for a variety of Clients including Queensland Government and Defence Working knowledge of drainage, utilities and transport infrastructure design principles and Australian standards (e.g. QUDM, SEQ Code, Austroads) Strong engineering judgement with experience leading design and development. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to obtain a Defence Clearance with AGSVA. Therefore, Australian Citizenship is required with prior or current Defence clearance preferred (or ability to obtain)
