About the Role
As a Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of heavy military vehicles.
* Conducting technical inspections to ensure vehicle safety and efficiency
* Repairing or replacing worn or faulty parts to extend the lifespan of the vehicle
* Reassembling and testing repaired or replaced parts to guarantee quality and reliability
* Carrying out minor body repairs and trim repairs to maintain the vehicle's appearance and functionality
* Inspecting vehicles and issuing certifications to ensure they are roadworthy
You must possess a current Australian State or Territory class C Driver's License and be an Australian Citizen able to obtain a Defence Security Clearance.
