Build Tech Form Group have over 20 years' experience in Formwork, Concreting, Steel fixing.
We focus on luxury residential, industrial and commercial dwellings such luxury houses, duplexes, townhouses, residential units, factories, warehouses and mixed residential, commercial projects as well as high end developments.
**About the role**:
We're currently looking for a Site Safety Officer to join our team. This role is a vital part of the business as it will involve reviewing WHS reports and inspections, organising and participating in WHS meetings, taking part in inspections and ensuring recommended corrective actions are completed with a focus on formwork safety. Company vehicle, laptop and tablet will be included.
**In this role you will**:
- Drive and lead a strong safety culture on all projects
- Communicating with key stakeholders on WHS matters
- Respond to incidents and emergencies, including investigations, reporting and escalation
- Undertake WHSEQ inspections and audits at project site locations
- Assist in and/or facilitate WHS Committee meetings as required
- Attend sites to ensure safety compliance and performance is being managed
- Assist in the training and assessment of staff
- Reviewing Safe Work Method Statements and Site WHS documentation
- Assisting the Project Delivery Team with the implementation of our WHS Systems
- Ensuring all records are kept up to date in accordance with WHS guidelines
- Setting up and managing Toolbox Talks on a regular basis
- Assisting with the coordination of injury management / return to work plans / recovery at work for injured employees
- Assisting with the determining WHS legal requirements for the work activities.
**Qualifications required**:
- WorkCover Site Induction Training Card
- First Aid Certificate
- Class C NSW Driver's Licence
**To be successful you will have**:
- Strong verbal and written skills, must be fluent in English
- Minimum 2 years' experience in the construction industry
- Experience in industrial/construction/formwork
- A formal qualification in WHS (Certificate IV in WHS as a minimum)
- Sound knowledge of legislative, regulatory and standard requirements
- A proactive approach, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- The ability to positively influence the development of safety culture
- Collaborative communication skills and ability to consult and influence in a construction environment
- Ability to prioritise conflicting tasks, and be able to adapt to daily changes
- Further qualifications in Training & Assessment and/or Quality auditing would be beneficial, however additional training can be provided.

**Salary**: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
