About the Role:
We are seeking experienced Riggers with proven shutdown, mining and or construction experience on a various type of mobile cranes (All-Terrian and, Pick and Carry), This role is a Full-time position and is based in Newman Whaleback, either as a FIFO (ex-Perth) or Local Hire (must already reside in Newman) on an 8 and 6 Roster.
Newman branch is well positioned within the Pilbara region, to supports our various industry, resourcing, and construction clients, with regular and ongoing AHDOC and Shutdown work.
Essential minimum criteria:
* High Risk Work Licences – Rigging Intermediate
* Heavy Vehicle Driver's Licence – HR
* Work safely at heights - valid within 2yrs old
* White (Construction) Card
* Ability to pass VOC for Rigging operation.
* Ability to successfully complete pre-employment medical including D&A testing.
* Must be Australian Citizen or valid right to work in Australia.
* National Police Clearance – within 12 months old or ability to apply
Desirable criteria:
* HC and or MC Driver's Licence (Highly Desirable).
* High Risk Work Licences – Non -Slew Crane
* High Risk Work Licences:
o Operate elevating work platform (RIIHAN301E)
o Operate a boom type elevating work platform (TLID3035)
o Licence to operate a forklift truck (TLILIC
* Provide First Aid (HLTAID011)
* Operate and Maintain 4WD Vehicle (RIIVEH305F)
* BHP, FMG, RIO and Roy Hill experience and inducted (including previously)
* Experience with prior training:
o Fatigue Management Awareness in the Workplace
o Chain of Responsibility Awareness
o Load Restraint Awareness (WA)
