We are seeking a reliable and motivated Fire Technician to join our growing team in the Northern Territory. This role involves working across local and remote community locations, delivering essential fire protection services and ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and NT regulations.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in the fire services industry, with training provided up to a Restricted Electrical Licence.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection and protection systems
* Fault finding and repairs of fire alarm systems and related equipment
* Ensure compliance with Australian Standards and NT fire safety regulations
* Work safely in both urban and remote community environments
* Complete service reports and documentation accurately
* Participate in an on-call rotating roster
* Maintain professional communication with clients and stakeholders

Essential Requirements
* Construction Induction Card (White Card)
* Current Working with Children Clearance (Ochre Card)
* Current Australian Driver's License
* Ability to obtain an NTPFES Contractor Card
* Willingness to travel and work in remote NT communities
* Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Previous experience as a Fire Technician or in a related trade
* Knowledge of fire alarm systems and Australian Standards
Protect NT communities as a Fire Technician. Work local and remote, with vehicle, training to Restricted Electrical License and real career growth.
