About Us

Our Maternal Child Family Health (MCFH) service, part of the Children, Youth, and Family Services department, focuses on supporting infants, children, and families with innovative service delivery models tailored to meet the needs of our contemporary community. Our program is evidence-based, family-centered, and grounded in strength-based practice.
About the position
Support people aged over 65 that need assistance to live independently at home
Have the variety to work with older adults, driving to various houses throughout the day, with the backing of a supportive office team
Skills and Experience
**Domestic Tasks**: Vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, changing beds (80% of your work)
**Personal Care**: Assist with showering, grooming, and dressing
**Respite Care**: Give primary carers a break by caring for their loved ones
**Wellbeing Checks**: Monitor clients' wellbeing and report to a Team Leader
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications**: Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support (including Personal Care unit and experience)
**Driver's License**: Current Victorian license and a roadworthy vehicle
Updated First Aid and CPR
Employee Working with Children card
**Availability**: 3-5 days per week (Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 8.00am and 5.00pm)
Additional Requirements
**Experience**: Working with older clients and understanding their needs
**Skills**: Excellent communication to work with clients, families, and office staff
Ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds
