Employment Type : Temporary Full Time (up to 30/6/2026) Position Classification : Health Education Officer Graduate / Non Graduate Remuneration : $62,486.00 - $114,187.00 pa ( superannuation salary packaging options) Location: Bourke, NSW – Find out more Hours Per Week: 38 Applications Close: 2 June 2025 – 11:59pm Magistrate's Early Referral Into Treatment (MERIT) Caseworker Mental Health Drug & Alcohol – Bourke About the role The Caseworker will provide assessment, intensive case management, support, counselling and treatment to defendants with a drug and/ or alcohol issue, who have current legal matters in a Local Magistrates Early Referral Into Treatment (MERIT) Court and MERIT treatment area. The caseworker will be supported primarily by the MERIT team leader, the drug and alcohol clinical lead as well as senior drug and alcohol staff. The successful applicant will possess, case management skills, counselling skills and ability to work independently as well as part of the team.
