Key responsibilities
* The Events Assistant position will sit directly under the Enrolments & Front Office Manager as many of the events are currently linked to that role. The Events Assistant's main focus will be to support the staff members who are in charge of the larger school events. As the Event Assistant will have excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, they will communicate with those individuals and departments that need to be involved in a College event with clear and detailed instructions of what is required and will remain responsible for the details until the conclusion of the event.
* The Events Assistant will assist at many of the College's events which will require some evenings, and at times a flexible work week as events occur on different days and times of the day.
* The Events Assistant will be responsible for the ordering of food for the College's various events which the Leadership Team are responsible for, and at times, will either be solely, or as part of a team, responsible to prepare and serve the food at pre-set events.
* As the Events Assistant will be working closely with the Enrolments & Front Office Manager, part of the role will be assisting with the administration for enrolments as well as HS Front Office tasks as required.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience in a similar role with excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills.
* Excellence in verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
* Remaining approachable, friendly and calm whist creatively problem solving.
* Strong IT skills including MS Office Suite and Outlook.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ and the philosophy of Christian Education. Applicants will also demonstrate an active involvement in their local church and align themselves with the College's core beliefs.
