About the Role
Due to continued growth, we are seeking Pharmacists to join our sterile compounding pharmacy team in a full-time, permanent position.
This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys accurate dispensing and clinical checking within a highly specialised setting. The position is dispensary-focused, with responsibility for the safe supply of compounded medicines and support of daily pharmacy operations.
Structured training and mentoring will be provided, with opportunities over time to gain exposure to compounding workflows, quality systems, and production environments .
Key Responsibilities
* Dispense and clinically check compounded prescriptions with a high degree of accuracy
* Work closely with compounding technicians and production teams to support workflow efficiency
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and internal SOPs
* Participate in quality assurance, incident management, and continuous improvement initiatives
* Provide professional advice and patient counselling when required
* Support safe, efficient pharmacy operations within a regulated compounding environment
About You
You will have:
* Bachelor or Master of Pharmacy with full AHPRA registration
* Full working rights in Australia
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to patient safety
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team
* A willingness to follow structured processes and regulatory requirements
* A proactive mindset with openness to learning and process improvement
* A genuine interest in compounding pharmacy and specialised medicines
Previous experience in compounding or production-based pharmacies is advantageous but not essential .
