The Roles Structural / Mechanical / Piping Designers
Reporting to the Manager - Design & Drafting you will be responsible for the management or development of engineering designs, from concept level models through to AFC detailed deliverables for mining and minerals projects.
There are multiple roles and engagement options available to suit project needs.
Brief Duties
* Lead, develop, manage, and deliver design drafting outputs in line with project requirements
* Produce drawings, models, and supporting documentation (2D & 3D)
* Work collaboratively with engineers and project teams
* Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and specifications
* Contribute to internal and project milestone design reviews
* Support project delivery across various stages (concept through to execution)
Criteria
* Cert III or Diploma - Engineering or related field - Desirable
* Experience in mining or heavy industry projects - Essential
* Strong leadership skills if Senior level and above
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Design software experience:
* Bentley Open Plant Modeller 2023 Connect Edition
* Bentley Open Plant Isometrics Manager 2023 Connect Edition
* Autodesk Navisworks Freedom
* Autodesk Navisworks Simulate
* Autodesk AutoCAD (not essential)
