Senior Civil and Concrete Supervisor
The primary objective of this position is to coordinate and supervise civil earthworks and concrete works during the construction phase of a copper processing operation.
This involves overseeing the implementation of site-specific safety procedures, managing contractors, and ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
To achieve this, you will be responsible for:
* Coordinating and supervising all civil and concrete works, including earthworks and structural concrete construction.
* Monitoring schedules and providing progress reports to stakeholders.
* Managing conflicts and assisting in the development of mitigating plans.
* Reviewing contractor work plans, schedules, and methods to ensure milestones are achieved and works comply with drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
About you: To excel in this role, you should have a degree in a related field, such as civil engineering or a similar discipline. You should also have at least 10 years' experience in mining or heavy industry construction, with a strong understanding of construction planning, methods, productivity analysis, QA, and HSE procedures.
You should be skilled in problem-solving, conflict management, and handling multiple tasks under pressure. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
