Role Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Rehabilitation Medicine Specialist who enjoys delivering high-quality clinical care, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and contributing to education and research initiatives in Southern Tasmania.
* Provide consultant-led care across various settings including acute inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient clinics, and community programs.
* Manage a diverse patient caseload featuring stroke, neurological disorders, brain and spinal injuries, complex orthopaedic rehab, amputees, and medical reconditioning.

The service provides comprehensive rehabilitation services including:
* Acute and subacute inpatient rehabilitation facilities.
* In-reach consultative services to support acute teams.
* Outpatient clinics running multiple times per week offering general and specialist rehabilitation services.
* Additional contracted rehabilitation beds through partnerships with private sector organizations.
About You
You are a specialist who brings:
* Specialist registration in Rehabilitation Medicine or eligibility via the specialist or international medical graduate pathway.
* Broad clinical competence across the spectrum of rehabilitation presentations.
* Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to delivering effective multidisciplinary care.
