We are seeking a dedicated Family Support Specialist to join our team. In this challenging yet rewarding role, you will work closely with vulnerable families who require intensive support to prevent child protection involvement.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in case management and child protection, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A Bachelor's degree or Masters in Social Work, Human Services or Psychology is highly desirable.
You will be responsible for leading case management with families, assessing their needs and developing collaborative plans to ensure their safety and wellbeing. This may involve providing therapeutic and practical support, connecting families with community resources, and advocating on their behalf.
