About the opportunity
The Manager, Future Student Recruitment (Domestic) is responsible for the planning and implementation of attraction strategies and operational plans to achieve the University's domestic undergraduate and postgraduate student enrolment targets. The role will also be responsible for working with other teams to implement end-to-end conversion strategies targeted at the prospective domestic student market under the guidance of the Director, Domestic Recruitment and Access. Your key responsibilities will be to:
* lead a high performing team to deliver activities and projects that support recruitment of students, providing management guidance, setting objectives, timelines and reporting on outcomes
* develop and implement student recruitment outreach programs to achieve the objectives derived from the recruitment strategy
* develop high school engagement strategies and lead a team to build strengthened high school relationships
* devise and deliver domestic conversion strategies and activities to increase enrolments from target groups of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework students
* monitor sector trends and contribute advice and recommendations on strategic decisions that may impact on domestic recruitment outcomes for undergraduate and postgraduate.
About you
* extensive experience working in a large, complex fast-paced organisation with experience of student recruitment lifecycle and implementing recruitment initiatives
* experience in leading, motivating and managing a diverse team of staff including managing staff performance with an ability to problem solve and develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives within a team
* proven stakeholder management skills and relationship development skills, internally and externally, ideally with experience building relationships with high school teachers and staff
* demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of successful postgraduate and undergraduate student recruitment strategies targeted at a domestic student market
* excellent organisation skills and high-level planning with good written and oral communications skills including public speaking skills
* experience in managing a budget and allocating and reporting on resources.
