**About this role**
- Tracking, monitoring, and controlling costs during the projectlife cycle
- Interpret specification and standards and assess their impacton project costs
- Using Planning-Budgeting-Forecasting cost control model toincrease profitability by identifying the variances between
these cost elements
- Creation of tender event schedules for procurement programs
- Budget/ Tender reconciliation, change management andvariance analysis
- Quantification and costing of construction work
- Quantity Take-off and preparing Bills of Quantities
- Prepare estimates, quantities, prices, costing for project
- Interface with Project managers and Engineers to best managerisks and opportunities
**About you**
- Tertiary or Trade Qualification in Quantity Surveying
- Have demonstrated experience in all aspects of quantitysurveying in Mining or Civil projects
