We are an Australian company specializing in customized high-performance paper bag and other paper-based packaging solutions. We have a compelling opportunity for experienced electricians to join our team at our Thomastown site.

The primary focus of this role will be to:
">

* Maintain equipment condition and reliability so that company safety, production, and quality targets can be achieved.
">
* Provide technical support to the Maintenance and Production teams.
">
* Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime, including contribution to routine planned shutdowns.
">
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and codes.
">
* Assist with breakdowns and conduct troubleshooting analysis as required.
">
* Demonstrate excellent PLC knowledge and understanding to enable troubleshooting of equipment.
">
* Have thorough knowledge and experience with powered drives, automatic guided vehicles (AGVs), and robotics.
">
* Read and understand electrical schematics and drawings.
">
* Have experience working with converting-type production lines in a FMCG environment.
">
* Possess solid knowledge and experience with industrial instrumentation and control systems.

For this position, we require:

* An Electrical A-grade Licence (this is mandatory).

* Experience working as an electrician in a FMCG manufacturing/industrial environment.

* Knowledge and experience in safe working practices and isolation processes.

* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

* A reliable and self-motivated individual with a great work ethic.

* Ability to implement cost optimization strategies within the spare parts management space.
