About the Role:
We are excited to announce the creation of a new position within our building division in Queensland: Project Manager. This role will be instrumental in managing and delivering multiple projects valued up to $5M each in Brisbane and the surrounding areas. This hybrid role will require time at our Brisbane office in Eagle Farm, QLD, as well as on-site presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Overseeing the development, review, and management of projects, ensuring adherence to OH&S, Quality & Environmental standards, cost control, and client/consultant relationship management.
2. Providing proactive leadership and management of on-site safety performance, standards, and risk.
3. Ensuring day-to-day quality management and developing quality procedures per project specifications and Australian Standards.
4. Offering technical advice and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills.
5. Establishing and maintaining programme and project cost control, with an emphasis on labor utilization and efficiency.
6. Building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, managing daily interactions.
7. Preparing accurate monthly reports, progress claims, and subcontractor statements.
8. Procuring and managing subcontractors and material suppliers.
9. Administering contracts and managing commercial risk in accordance with the DOA.
Preferred Experience:
1. Proven experience in façade, waterproofing, steel works or concrete corrosion repair works.
2. Experience with remediation works (Concrete & steel Repairs / Strengthening).
3. Strong subcontractor and stakeholder management skills.
Qualifications / Experience:
1. A degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
2. A minimum of 5 years' project management in the civil or construction industry.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
