About the Role:
We're seeking a motivated and hands‑on Assistant Restaurant & Functions Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you'll support the daily operations across Saige Bistro and our function operations—ensuring outstanding service, smooth event execution and a positive guest experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Assistant Manager or a very experienced Supervisor looking to step into a management role within a dynamic, multi‑outlet environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead shifts in restaurant and function operations
* Assist with managing, training, and mentoring FOH teams to maintain high standards of service
* Responsible for conducting team briefings, service delivery and guest experience, managing staffing levels and daily financial reporting for the outlets
* Work closely with the kitchen and events teams to ensure seamless execution of restaurant service and functions
* Taking ownership of a variety of delegated areas of responsibility, changing over the year to support your ongoing development and F&B operations
* Support rostering, stock control, and operational efficiency
* Ensure compliance with RSA, WHS, and company policies
