Join us and be a part of DSV’s global family. DSV Air & Sea is seeking to hire a skilled and passionate Freight Forwarder, Export in Melbourne. We’re looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused professional to manage both Air and Sea Export activities, ensuring smooth movement of consignments from origin to destination. This is a customer-facing role that involves coordinating bookings with international and domestic carriers, preparing export documentation, and ensuring compliance with company policies and external regulations. Your typical day at DSV: Collaborate with a team of Export specialists to deliver accurate, high-quality service to our clients. Manage the full export workflow—from customer service to shipment departure—aligned with management directives, client instructions, and compliance standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, service providers, and overseas colleagues. Troubleshoot and resolve export-related issues with internal and external stakeholders. Accurately enter data into CargoWise One and manage financial aspects such as invoicing. Support process improvements and monitor operational efficiency. Assist the Senior Team Lead and Department Manager with daily tasks and special projects. About you: Proven experience in Freight Forwarding (Air & Sea). Proficiency in CargoWise One and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel). Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and resolve challenges. High attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines. A confident, resilient, and proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.
