**How will I Help?**
As the Supervisor in Corporate Lending Operations Team you will be responsible for creating and maintain a business unit that is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high performing and skilled workforce and cost-efficient business practices.
Corporate Lending Operations (CLO) forms part of WIB Operations under Group Operations within the Customer Services & Technology division. WIB Operations supports Westpac Institutional Bank (WIB) and Corporate Institutional Banking (CIB), and we pride ourselves on being a business unit that is equipped to meet the ever-changing needs of the market, while remaining committed to our different customers, stakeholders, and products.
Corporate Lending Operations is managed through its Central Hub in Sydney utilising a 24 hour follow the sun model which is supported by our Financial Markets Operations team.
The broader business is responsible for processing and settlement of Agency, Bilateral and Syndicated loan transactions, including Bank Guarantees, Asset Finance and Securitisation.
The team are responsible for daily reconciliation of the Group's stock and Nostro cash accounts as well as internal control reporting and settling compensation claims which may arise through trading activity and investigation of reconciliation breaks.
The key focus of this role is to create and maintain a business unit that is focussed on increasing customer satisfaction, developing a high performing and skilled workforce and cost-efficient business practices. The role operates in accordance with Compliance & Privacy requirements and manages operational risk effectively.

**What do I need?**
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role or back-office banking and finance experience
- Excellent focus on attention to detail with the capability to work and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Energetic and motivated, able to work well inside a group and broadly across an organisation
- Be a confident and articulate communicator
- Positive and enthusiastic approach to acquiring product and systems knowledge
- Flexible team player with the ability to work under pressure
- Banking and Finance industry experience
