**What you'll be doing**
The Biomedical Dental Technician provides technical support and maintenance for medical and dental equipment within WSLHD and other clients, ensuring high standards of service. In this role you will be responsible for:
- Delivering equipment maintenance and technical support.
- Coordinating repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
- Supervising the Biomedical Dental team.
- Collaborating with the mechanical operations manager.
- Ensuring a customer-focused approach within clinical environments.
**How to Apply**
**Essential Criteria**:
- Qualification: Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Mechanical or electrical Engineering or equivalent relevant experience within a healthcare setting.
- Demonstrated knowledge, ability to fault find and repair of mechanical, electromechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic medical equipment.
- Ability to lead, supervise, train and mentor team members by sharing knowledge and communicating with senior management.
- Advanced interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with an ability to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders such as nursing, medical and administrative staff and suppliers of services and components to the hospital.
- Current NSW Drivers Licence.
