Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Baker to join our full-time bakery operations in Deniliquin, NSW 2710. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation, baking and presentation of a wide range of bread and bakery products in a commercial environment, ensuring consistency, quality and compliance with food safety standards.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
● Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per bakers delight standards.
● Check quality, weight and freshness of raw materials and ingredients in accordance with recipes and production requirements.
● Prepare, mix and process doughs using commercial mixers and equipment.
● Bake breads, savoury and sweet products, cakes and pastries, monitoring oven temperatures, baking times and product appearance.
● Coordinate forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling processes to ensure consistent product quality.
● Operate bakery machinery and equipment including mixers, dough dividers, ovens and slicers in a safe manner.
● Inspect and maintain bakery equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
● Ensure all products meet quality standards for taste, texture, size and appearance.
● Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements at all times.
●Clean workstations and equipment before and after shifts to maintain hygiene standards.
● Decorate, glaze or fill bakery items as required.
● Monitor stock levels, record production output, waste and ingredient usage.
● Assist with customer orders and special baking requests when required.
Application Requirements:
Skills and Experience Requirements :
● Minimum one (1) year of recent and relevant experience as a Baker in a commercial bakery environment.
● Certificate III in Baking or equivalent qualification preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
● Demonstrated knowledge of baking techniques and commercial bakery equipment.
● Strong understanding of food safety standards, hygiene practices and quality control.
● Flexible availability to work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays ( starting times can be as early as 2 am).
● Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $76,600.00 – $83,000.00 per year
