Job description Senior Legal Counsel Front-End Construction Leading ASX Listed Organisation Sydney or Melbourne Hybrid Working A leading ASX listed organisation is looking for a senior legal counsel to join their high performing legal team in Sydney or Melbourne.
The role will report into the General Counsel as a 2ic and involve working closely with senior executives and project teams.
You will be responsible for providing expert legal advice on complex transactions, negotiating high-value contracts, and ensuring governance excellence across diverse sectors including transport, energy, and social infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities: Providing legal advice on complex transactions Negotiating high value contracts Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts and agreements in line with infrastructure law Ensuring governance initiatives across projects Building strong relationships with stakeholders Key Requirements: Ideally a minimum of 8 years PQE gained in private practice or leading In-House organisation Preferably previous experience with complex transactions within energy, transport, social infrastructure Proven knowledge of infrastructure law and contractual frameworks Strong commercial and negotiation skills Excellent communication and relationship skills The role offers the chance to join an experienced, high performing team, with hybrid working and a competitive remuneration package.
