Job Description
* Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with BAS preparation, calculation, and lodgement
* Prepare and post month‐end journals
* Oversee superannuation calculations, including management of bounce backs
* Support FBT and Fuel Tax Credit calculations and submissions
* Assist the finance team with year‐end processes and reporting
* Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely completion of all financial tasks
The Successful Applicant
A Successful Financial Accountant Should Have
* CA/CPA qualification
* Proven experience as a Financial Accountant within government or council setup
* Strong technical accounting knowledge across month‐end and year‐end
* Experience with BAS, FBT, and superannuation obligations
* High attention to detail and excellent reconciliation skills
* Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
* TechOne experience (highly preferred)
