We are proudly part of Japan Post —The Store Person Grade 3 has proven and demonstrated skills (including as appropriate, appropriate certification) to the level required of this grade and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of specific site for DTL operations. This position provides crucial support to the efficient operation of warehousing activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching Defence equipment, supplies, and materials. Working under the supervision of the Team Leader, the Store Person Grade 3 ensures that all tasks are performed in compliance with DTL contractual requirements, Defence regulations, safety protocols, and operational standards. The role requires a strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.To succeed in this role, it is expected that you will have:**Knowledge/Experience*** Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or similar operational environment is desirable, though not essential for this entry-level position* Must be an Australian Citizen and eligible for (and maintain) an Australian AGSVA Defence Security Clearance**Technical/Professional Skills required*** Safety Orientation: Committed to maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to WHS standards* Teamwork & Collaboration: Ability to work effectively within a team, contributing to the success of the warehouse operation* Time Management: Efficiently managing workload and meeting deadlines in a time-sensitive environment* Attention to Detail: Consistently ensuring accuracy in all aspects of stock management, order fulfillment, and reporting* The role involves manual handling, lifting, and carrying of materials, so physical fitness is necessary to meet the demands of the job**Qualifications – Education and/or professional*** Valid forklift license (if required), or willingness to obtain one.* Drivers Licence Car (C).* Security clearance of personnel engaged in the planning and delivery of Services in relation to:* Defence Logistics Network strategic planning – Negative Vetting 2;* SPA – Negative Vetting 1;* Armoury, Weapons or Controlled Repair Parts – Negative Vetting 1; and* For all other personnel routinely engaged in the planning and delivery of Services on a Site – Baseline.At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
