Job Title: Technology Support Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team as a Technology Support Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting staff computing technologies, providing technical support and training to staff and students, and maintaining and troubleshooting audio-visual technologies in teaching and meeting spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and support staff computing technologies (workstations, mobile devices, software applications)
* Provide prompt, friendly technical support and training to staff and students across multiple locations
* Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual technologies in teaching and meeting spaces
* Resolve complex software incidents and implement programming updates in consultation with users and vendors
* Deliver onboarding and training sessions and develop user guides and support materials
* Support local IT and AV projects, contributing to process improvement and documentation
* Uphold University IT standards, policies, and cyber security requirements

Requirements:

* A degree with subsequent relevant experience or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
* Demonstrated competence in information and communications technologies, including audio-visual technologies, and software applications
* Strong written and oral communication skills, including sensitivity and ability to communicate with a broad range of people
* Demonstrated ability to organise workflow and meet deadlines
* Ability to participate in intra-state travel and hold a current NSW driver's licence
* Knowledge of and experience in adhering to workplace policies and procedures in areas of work health safety, diversity, and promoting a respectful workplace culture
