IP Australia requires the services of a Senior Linux Administrator to assist in providing business critical support and best practice to both Linux on premise and cloud infrastructure for IP Australia. The role will be placed within the Linux Enterprise service team within the Infrastructure Services team and assist in reaching IP Australia's strategic and security commitments.
Subject to approval by IP Australia, the services may be delivered remotely. However, the successful candidate will be required to attend onsite planning or other activities as required.
It is estimated that the services will commence from 20 February 2023 .
Responsibilities
* The modernisation of IP Australia\'s core business systems;
* Migration of IP Australia systems and applications to a cloud-based environment; and
* The delivery of business-critical support for on-premises and cloud Linux instances.
Qualifications
It is a mandatory requirement that this role have the appropriate skills, qualifications and experience against:
* RedHat Enterprise Linux 7 and 8;
* Ansible;
* Satellite; and
* RedHat IDM
Experience in the delivery of services using:
* Solaris; and
would be highly regarded.
