The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will be the primary employment law advisor for the Australian business. You will partner closely with HR and business leaders on a broad range of employee‑related matters, playing a key role in enabling safe, fair and high‑performing workplaces.

Responsibilities
- Provide clear, commercially focused advice on employment law, employee relations and workplace issues.
- Partner with HR and business leaders on investigations, performance, safety and conduct matters.
- Manage external counsel and represent the business in interactions with workplace regulators.
- Support enterprise bargaining and broader industrial relations initiatives.
- Deliver training and promote risk awareness across the associate lifecycle.
Requirements
- Law degree (or equivalent) with an Australian Practising Certificate (or eligibility).
- Significant post‑qualification experience (as a guide, 5+ years) in employment and labour law.
- Demonstrated experience in workplace investigations, Fair Work matters and employee relations.
- Ability to communicate complex legal issues clearly and pragmatically to non‑legal stakeholders.
- Comfortable managing day‑to‑day ER issues while also supporting senior leaders on strategic workforce initiatives.
