This is a key hire within the Institutional Sales team, responsible for developing and servicing relationships with Melbourne-based institutional investors. The role will leverage an established research platform while contributing to the continued growth of the firm's distribution capability and revenue base.
The successful candidate will provide timely, high-quality advice to Melbourne-based institutional fund managers across ASX-listed emerging companies, with a focus on both Industrials and Resources. The role involves building and maintaining strong relationships with key market participants, coordinating and hosting corporate access including investor meetings and roadshows, and driving activity levels and revenue generation in line with team objectives.
Key Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience within Institutional Equities Sales or a related field (including Equity Research), with a strong understanding of emerging companies across Resources and/or Industrials; a genuine interest in covering both sectors is important
* Established relationships with Australian institutional investors highly regarded, with the ability to build and influence at all levels
* Commercial, self-motivated and results-driven, with strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a high-performance, team-oriented environment
