Job Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance and Reliability Planner to support our maintenance and reliability team's activities across multiple sites in Laverton, Altona, and Albury.
Your primary objectives will be to:
* Maintain Equipment Efficiency: Develop comprehensive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery, aligning with production requirements and priorities.
* Optimise Maintenance Activities: Utilise computerised maintenance management systems to schedule work orders, track maintenance activities, and record equipment history and performance.
* Sustain Supply Chain Excellence: Collaborate with suppliers, OEMs, and maintenance teams to ensure adequate stock levels of spare parts and consumables.
* Analyse Performance Data: Analyse equipment performance data to identify opportunities for improving equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
* Implement Reliability-Centred Maintenance: Work closely with reliability engineers and maintenance technicians to implement reliability-centred maintenance strategies and optimise preventive maintenance schedules.
* Enhance Process Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and support implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
* Establish Key Performance Indicators: Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the effectiveness of maintenance activities.
* Align Operational Excellence: Collaborate with site leadership teams to align operational and maintenance excellence initiatives with the company's strategic goals.
About You
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
* Maintenance Management Expertise: Strong knowledge of maintenance management principles, including preventive maintenance strategies, reliability-centred maintenance (RCM), and condition-based maintenance (CBM).
* Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
* Operational Improvement Track Record: Proven experience in implementing successful operational improvement programs in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience in the recycled plastic resin industry or a similar field.
* Leveraging Continuous Improvement: Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Problem-Solving Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
* Change Leadership: Ability to support change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
* Financial Acumen: Financial acumen and budget management skills.
* Data Analysis: Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for performance measurement and process optimisation.
Qualifications
* Electrical or Mechanical Trade: Electrical or mechanical trade or equivalent experience, preferably in a coordinating role.
* Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt are highly desirable.
* Additional Qualifications: Additional qualifications in project management or operational excellence would be advantageous.
