About the Role
Temporary 12‐month payroll officer position.
Salary commences at $77,378.67 – $100,592.27 plus superannuation, dependent on experience and qualifications. Rostered day off approximately every 3 weeks.
Responsibilities
* Check timesheet entries and maintain employee records.
* Provide data entry for payroll.
* Advise staff and managers on award conditions, tax legislation, and organisational policies.
* Process and reconcile fortnightly pay cycle in iChris system.
* Ensure high level of detail and accuracy.
Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years payroll experience.
* Experience in payroll processing, operating procedures, taxation legislation, award interpretation including superannuation and workers' compensation.
* Experience using computer‐based payroll systems, preferably iChris.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build working relationships at all levels.
* Strong organisational and time‐management skills.
