A leading International Advisory Firm is seeking an Employment Lawyer to join its growing Workplace Relations and Employment team in Sydney. This role sits within a highly regarded national practice that advises a broad range of corporate and financial services clients on complex employment matters.
The employment practice is primarily advisory focused, with a strong emphasis on large scale remediation projects and M&A transactions for major clients across a range of industries. The team works closely with the corporate and M&A practice, advising on employment aspects of transactions, restructures and integrations. Litigation makes up a small proportion of the work, representing less than 10 percent of matters. The focus is instead on strategic, complex and often high impact advisory work for sophisticated clients.
As a global advisory firm offering a genuine one‑stop‑shop across technology, risk, tax and data advisory, lawyers in the team work closely with professionals across the broader business to deliver end to end solutions. Lawyers who have joined from top tier and leading private practice firms consistently highlight this exposure as highly valuable to clients.
The role is open to either an Associate or Senior Associate.
